As the operator of this platform, DelivraX acts as the data controller for personal information collected through our website, mobile apps, and associated services.

Location & Delivery Data
- Real-time GPS location (riders, during active delivery)
- Pickup and delivery addresses for each order
- Delivery history and route data
Payment Information
- Transaction history and wallet balances
- Payment method type (card, bank transfer — not raw card numbers)
- All payment processing is handled by certified third-party processors
Device & Usage Data
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- IP address and approximate geolocation
- Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
- Push notification tokens
3. How We Use Your Data
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity
- To process delivery bookings, match riders to orders, and enable tracking
- To facilitate and verify payments between parties on the platform
- To send transactional notifications (order status, delivery confirmation, payment alerts)

- Riders: Senders' pickup/drop-off details and contact info (masked) for active deliveries
- Businesses: Basic delivery status and rider profile for booked orders
- Payment processors: Transaction data to facilitate wallet and card payments
- Cloud infrastructure providers: Hosting and database services under strict data agreements
- Analytics partners: Anonymised, aggregated usage data only
- Law enforcement or regulators: Where legally required by Nigerian courts or regulatory authorities
6. Your Rights
Under Nigerian data protection law (NDPA 2023) and applicable international standards, you have the following rights over your personal data:

- Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant partners — we never store raw card numbers

8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services. Specific retention periods:
Retention schedule
- Account information: Retained for the duration of your account plus 2 years after closure
- KYC documents: Retained for 5 years as required by Nigerian AML/CFT regulations
- Transaction records: Retained for 7 years as required by Nigerian tax law
- Location data: Retained for 90 days after delivery completion, then anonymised
- Marketing data: Retained until you opt out or request deletion
9. Children's Privacy
DelivraX is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@delivrax.ng immediately and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
